Whenever I look at the portraits of these ancestors of mine, I feel proud to be somehow part of the history of the most incredible city a man has ever dared to invent. I like to think that meeting this house was the completion of a journey that led me to rediscover a part of my roots. I must say it was not difficult to hear the call of this place and the stories told by these walls.
Alvise Ranieri Tenti
Location
Ca’ Ranieri Tenti is located in one of the most authentic corners of Venice, in that part of the Castello district next tor the western side of the Arsenale; an area where the chatter of the dialect wins over the noises of the crowd, where people still live their city in serenity.
The Decor
The decor of Ca’ Ranieri Tenti, personally designed by the owner, a long-time traveler, combines modern elements with more traditional ones and others coming from some of the trips made around the world, thus creating a very personal eclectic style.
Accomodation
Ca’ Ranieri Tenti can accommodate up to 6 people, with two bedrooms and a sofa bed.
The apartment has two bathrooms, one ensuite. The master bedroom is very large and spacious and overlooks the canal. It has ensuite bathroom, large flat screen TV, independent air conditioning, large closet and king size bed.
The loggia on the canal
The apartment as well has as a small loggia, directly overlooking the canal, separated from the rest of the house by a large window, where one can enjoy a drink or have breakfast in a truly unique setting.
